World Famous Atlantic City Bakery formerly known as Formica's Bakery is a Ducktown, Atlantic City tradition since 1919, serving Southern New Jersey. Their legendary bread is handcrafted from fresh dough, never frozen using recipes and techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation. Their Master Bakers make their bread the same way Francesco Formica did over 91 years ago. They bake continuously around the clock, seven days a week in order to ensure only the freshest of products reach their customers daily.

In 1897, Harry "Dock" Dougherty opened Dock's with 60 seats, no liquor license and very high standards. Harry's vision has been carried on by four generations of Dougherty's who share his commitment to quality service. That commitment sustained Dock's through two World Wars, the Great Depression, and the decline and rebirth of Atlantic City. In 1945, the second generation of Dougherty's enlarged the restaurant to 80 seats. 15 years later, the third generation purchased a liquor license, expanded the dining room again, and installed a modern kitchen. After another decade, a small cocktail lounge was added, and in 2001 a team of third and fourth generation Dougherty's revamped the dining room and bar, adding a raw bar. In 2015, the fourth generation decided it was time to give our loyal customers more space by taking over a portion of the parking lot for a 3-story addition.
