Resume

The origin of the Silk Road name.

Initially, this was the Royal Road of the Persian Empire with postal stations, “Silk Road” is the name of a historical trade route that spanned from East Asia all the way to France. The world wouldn’t be where it is today had it not been for this trade route. Silk wasn’t the only good traded on this route. There were also grapes, animals, furs, rugs, china, bronze, medicine, and many others things traded. This route was active between around 100 BC all the way to the 1450s. Not only were goods traded on this route, but cultures and religions spread throughout the world on this route.
